Korean Designer Shows in Pegasus Gallery

The Art Institute of Dallas is pleased to announce an exhibition of fashion illustrations by Korean fashion designer Soon Chun Park. This exhibition, THE SPACE OF METAPHOR, presents a unique view of fashion design from an international perspective. Her work will be on display at the Pegasus Gallery from July 14 to August 22.

An opening reception with the artist was held on Monday, July 14.

Soon Chun Park is Professor of Art & Design at Chosun University, one of the most prestigious private universities in South Korea. She holds a Ph.D. in Fashion Design form Sung-Shin Women’s University in Korea, an MFA in Apparel Design from Hong-IK University, and an undergraduate degree from the Instituto Marangoni in Milan, Italy. Ms. Park is actively involved in the Fashion Design industry as the Director of the Korean Fashion Illustration Association, and serves a consultant for the Prengddang Apparel Company and ShinWon I.N.V.U. Inc. Further accomplishments include nine solo international exhibitions and published work in several Korean fashion publications.
