Film Goes to the Dogs
Posted: 06/09/2008
Instructor Vince Williams teamed with a group of Art Institute of Dallas film students to create a film for the SPCA Petflix Film Festival. Their film screened at the Granada Theatre, and won "Best Long Tail" in the festival! They won two passes to the 2009 AFI film festival, a one-night stay at the W Hotel, and a trophy shaped like a dog bone! The film festival was judged by Tony Zazza from Mix 102.9 and Gary Cogill, the film critic from WFAA. All proceeds went to the SPCA and VCA Animal Hospitals. The students that participated were Lola Vinson, Kelly Luu and Kevin Luu.
