New Library Resources

Clip Art Books: The Library has a collection of clip art books with royalty free images. They are located on the back of the New Book shelves. This collection is for in library use only. Get your dimes ready or make good use of the scanners in the library computer lab. They are organized into topic categories.
New Databases: The Library has an incredible new resource in ProQuest. Unfortunately, this database will require you to log-in even when you are on campus. Please show us your valid AID ID card to pick up the database password sheet in the library. Included in our subscription are:
- ABI/Inform Complete with over 4,020 journals, offers titles covering business and economic conditions, corporate strategies, management techniques, as well as competitive and product information. Its international coverage is 1923 to the present.
- ProQuest Newspapers provides 27 of the most respected newspapers from all over the country including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Christian Science Monitor, Chicago Tribune Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Boston Globe and USA TODAY.
- ProQuest Psychology provides abstracts and indexing for more than 620 titles, with over 520 titles available in full text. Users get access to charts, diagrams, graphs, tables, photos, and other graphical elements.
- ProQuest Research Library a wide range of popular academic subjects with two components: a core list of periodicals; plus 15 supplemental subject-specific modules. The database includes more than 3,880 titles—over 2,620 in full text—from 1971 forward.
Software Tutorials: You want to learn software? Check this out--VTC (Virtual Training Corporation) has more than 475 courses with hundreds of hours of video. This database requires a log-in even when on campus. Faculty may contact Lisa Casto to obtain a log-in, students can use the log-in and passwords handed out at the main desk in the library when you show your current AID identification card.
