Art Institute of Dallas student Amy Saunders and Kevin O'Flaherty (the Director and Lead Animator for the Teddy Project for AID) will be attending the American Conservation Film Festival Trip to Shepardstown, WV and Washington DC, October 31-November 4, sponsored by the Teddy Project and the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
The Teddy Project is a fun and innovative partnership between the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service and The Art Institutes (AI), a system of 31 art schools located throughout the United States, to pair teams of media arts students at AI campuses in cities across the country with nearby national wildlife refuges, national fish hatcheries, and other Fish and Wildlife Service offices.
The Teddy Project's mission is to share wildlife and wild places with urban youth by using the technologies they know and enjoy, such as short animated movies and commercials.
