To be excused, a notice from the appropriate source must be submitted to the course instructor.

Grades - The following, in general, defines what you must do to earn your grade:
A - Outstanding work and effort in and outside of class. Work is complete and goes far beyond what was assigned - it is creative, imaginative, and skilled. Work is always submitted on time.

B - Excellent work and effort (above average). It surpasses the minimum requirements in creativity, imagination, skill and amount assigned. Work is submitted on time.

C- Good but average work and efforts. Work is above minimum required to meet course objectives. It meets all creative, skill and deadline requirements as well as the amount of work assigned. However it does not show further effort or development.

D - Below average. Work and effort meet only minimum requirements for course objectives through lack of interest in the material. Participation is poor, craftsmanship is poor and work may be late.

F - Failure. Not enough work, effort, participation or results to justify credit for individual assignments or the course as a whole.
