What: “Blind Anomaly” Art Show, Open Mic, and Silent Auction to benefit JEWEL.
Where: Aria Salon and Body Spa, 3300 Oak Lawn, Suite 106, Dallas TX
When: Saturday, November 22, 2008, 7-11 PM
Artworx & Kre8.biz collaborate to present “Blind Anomaly” on November 22, 2008 from 7-11pm. Frances Graham, Dan Coppersmith, Annie Gazaway, Sherry Martin, Julia Stewart, Jennifer Hyde and other area talent, will be featured, and display their art for public enjoyment. A variety of art mediums will be highlighted, including paintings, jewelry, photography, and mixed media. All pieces on display will be available for purchase, and the artists will be available to answer questions and provide information about their work.
In addition to the great artwork that will be available for viewing, there will be music, vocals, and poetry all provided by local talent. The Open Mic Style format will allow for attendees to participate interactively in the show as well.
A silent auction for charity will be held, featuring a piece by each artist. JEWEL will receive proceeds from the silent auction.
This event is free and open to the public. Light snacks, beverages, and wine will be served.
